GPMed–Orientierungshilfe: Forschen mit Real-World-Data (RWD)  

The secondary use of real-world data (RWD) is becoming increasingly important in health research. However, the multitude of applicable European and national regulations poses a challenge.

The GPMed has now created a comprehensive guide for the secondary use of RWD in research projects!

This “living working document” was developed in collaboration with experts from leading Austrian institutions, including the BASG, AGES, the Medical University of Graz, the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna, and the GPMed Research Innovation Circle.

Our working paper shows you how to plan and implement medical or health economics research projects with RWD according to the current framework conditions in Austria. Learn more about the possibilities and limitations of RWD and how they can support decision-making in medical practice.
